BIO / ABOUT
At 30 years old, TJ Fry is a professional driver and on-camera personality. He’s quickly become a respected instructor throughout the motorsports industry, training automotive enthusiasts, professional drivers, and even the US Navy SEALs in advanced vehicle dynamics.
TJ began his driving career in 2007, but didn’t pursue driving full-time until 2012. His background includes drifting, road rally, stage rally, NHRA, NASA, and precision driving for films/TV. In 2010 TJ finished top 10 in the Top Drift series in southern California. He finished 3rd in his class at the Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb in 2014.
In 2016, TJ campaigned a 1995 Nissan 240SX in the Formula Drift-sanctioned ProAm series in Monroe, WA, Evergreen Drift. Despite a season of quirks with the new vehicle, TJ was able to clinch a victory at Round 5. While he loves winning, TJ also loves to put on a show for the crowd, and in 2016 was able to win 3 separate burn-out contests.
Hailing from Montana, TJ’s vehicles are often numbered “406” as a tribute to the area code of his home state. He is passionate about cars, but anything motorized has always captured his attention. He strives to represent his home state professionally and to prove that competitive drivers don’t need to base themselves out of major metropolitan areas. His goal is to inspire others to pursue their dreams in motorsports and driving.
As an avid skier with a degree in film, TJ has traveled the world for skiing, videography, and driving. He loves documenting and sharing his experiences for others to enjoy. He is always excited to collaborate with like-minded and motivated individuals.
TJ and his partners work tirelessly to create entertaining and inspirational content for his followers. TJ would like to thank his followers, friends, family, partners, and his wife, Dani for their support in pursuing his career behind the wheel.
